Photo Flash: Rebecca Caine Visits SINGULAR SENSATION

Toronto theatre-fans had a real treat last night when Rebecca Caine, the original Christine in Toronto's record-setting run of The Phantom of the Opera (1989-1999), visited SINGular Sensation at Statlers (487 Church St.) to perform a few songs and take in the local talent. Caine is also known for originating the role of Cosette in Les Miserables, as well as her many opera credits. Caine is also the winner for the 2014 BroadwayWorld Toronto Award for Best Cabaret Performance or Solo Concert.
Caine treated the crowd to stunning performances of "Think of Me," "Angel of Music," "All I Ask Of You" (with Kevin Wong), and "Bring Him Home."

SINGular Sensation is a weekly, musical theatre open mic night at Statlers hosted by Jenni Walls, Donavon LeNabat and Jamie Bird. It starts at 10 PM. SINGular Sensation is now in its third year and has even lead to the creation of their our own awards show-The BackDora Awards. They feature local and international special guests, as well as guests from casts from some of Toronto's top shows! Past guests include the casts of The Lion King, Memphis, Jersey Boys, Cannibal the Musical, and more!
