Photo Flash: Dancap and Etobicoke School for the Arts Present WEST SIDE STORY Master Class

Dancap Productions and Etobicoke School for the Arts continued their WEST SIDE STORY collaboration with a master dance class taught by cast members on Thursday, May 24. View photos below!

The class featured cast members and more than 40 musical theatre students, including the award-winning ESA show choir Splash. The master class ended at 2 pm, after which the students performed "Somewhere" from the score of WEST SIDE STORY for the cast members.

Fifty five years ago, a contemporary musical adaptation of Romeo & Juliet premiered on Broadway and changed the face of musical theatre forever. Dancap Productions presents the first national tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY, on stage until June 3, 2012 only, at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.
