Joanne Kelly to Star In PROOF At The Branding Factory

By: Dec. 01, 2011

Joanne Kelly is set to star in Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama Proof. Critically acclaimed director David Tompa (Tape, Sexual Perversity In Chicago, Diving Normal), unites a
powerhouse cast, featuring Joanne Kelly (Warehouse 13, Oleanna), John Evans (True West - Dora Winner), Dani Kind (Diving Normal, Pure Pwnage) and Joe Dinicol (Sexual Perversity in Chicago, Passenchendaele) for an exciting new vision of David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama Proof previewing November 29th and 30th, opening December 1st, and running until December 18th (Tuesdays to Sundays 8pm) at The Branding Factory (136 Geary Ave. Unit #215a).

Somewhere between genius and madness lies an elegant discovery that has the potential to change the entire world. Whether it will be for better, or for worse, remains to be seen. Proof examines this dilemma through one family's journey, when the loss of a mathematical genius (John Evans) reunites his youngest daughter and protégé (Joanne Kelly), with her estranged sister (Dani Kind), and one of his former students (Joe Dinicol). This Giant's life and untimely death challenges them to solve this problem together, and to perhaps rediscover themselves along the way.

Members from the prolific Red One Theatre Collective, who have engaged a new generation of audiences in some of the most exciting theatre in recent history, invite you to their latest site-specific endeavor - an intimate look into the mind of a genius, where you will be welcomed into the home of an ordinary person on the brink of extraordinary change.
