Randie Parliament, Artistic Producer, announced today the company will be producing a double bill of comedies by the Sedaris family as the third instalment to their season. The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris and The Book of Liz by Amy Sedaris & David Sedaris will run for seven public performances, as a single ticket, beginning May 7, 2011 at Buddies In Bad Times - Tallulah's Cabaret. The ensemble cast features MTV favourites Jonathan Morton-Schuster and Jean-Paul Bevilacqua from 1 Girl 5 Gays.

THE SANTALAND DIARIES - David, 33, arrives in New York City with big dreams and no money. Three weeks in and he is broke, unemployed and desperate. Sifting through the want ads, he comes across an opportunity which make him both laugh and squirm, but on a dare, applies. Surrounded by a montage of freaks and sad individuals, he waits his turn to become a Macy's 'Santaland' elf.

THE BOOK OF LIZ - Sister Elizabeth Donderstock (Laurie Hutchison) enjoys her Squeamish community. It is a life of simplicity and cheese balls, both of which she has mastered. Her role in the parish seems secure until the arrival of a new member. Feeling unappreciated and unwanted, Liz runs away to the big city in pursuit of acceptance. Along the way she finds some happiness with Ukrainian immigrants and AA devotees and finds work as a mascot and a waitress. Only to discover her old community is crumbling and she is blamed for sabotaging its livelihood.

Both shows are directed by Randie Parliament and feature the ensemble cast of Jean-Paul Bevilacqua, Michael Delamont, Stephanie Draper, Laurie Hutchison, Brian Mancini, Jonathan Morton-Schuster, Randie Parliament, Shannon Shura and Lori Williams.

Amy & David Sedaris are a sibling dynamite duo! Both best selling authors and comedians with regular stints on David Letterman. The two combined their talents (Talent Family) when they paired up to pen, The Book of Liz.
