As part of their 24th season, Festival Place presents An Evening with Terry Bozzio, September 27, 2018.
Terry Bozzio is one of rock drumming's most formidable and brain-circuiting forces playing on "the world's largest tuned drum and percussion set." Best known as the hurricane behind Frank Zappa's late-Seventies and early-Eighties work, and the hit-maker behind new wave powerhouse Missing Persons.
An Evening With Terry Bozzio is the first time he's touring a melodic solo percussion performance in North America. Bozzio will be hitting 40 dates, playing on two-and-a-half octaves of tuned tom-toms and eight notes of bass drum.Festival Place continues to be Alberta's #1 Presenter of Professional Artists. The 2017/2018 season showcased an eclectic mix of over 80 incredibly talented performers. The upcoming 2018/2019 season carries on the same ambitious standard of entertainment, with over 50 performances already scheduled between September 2018 and April 2019, with new shows added throughout the year.
