Entertaining theatre for the

entire family all summer long!

Toronto, ON… Come and enjoy Shakespeare with the whole family! The CanStage TD Dream in High Park offers fun activities for kids of all ages, all summer long from June 27 to September 3, 2006 (no shows on Monday nights).

Join us for the second summer of Sunday Family Nights at the Dream! Offered prior to each Sunday evening performance (July 9 – Sept. 3), specific workshops and activities will be offered at the Dream site that provide a playful and adventurous introduction to Shakespeare. Designed for family members of any age, these hour-long sessions (from 5:30-6:30 p.m.) are led by theatre professionals and are offered free-of-charge. Active participation is encouraged and there is no experience required – all are welcome!  For more information on all family and children's programming (including library days and Camp Day) contact Patty Jarvis at 416.367.8243 x245 or pjarvis@canstage.com.

Over one million people have enjoyed the tradition of the CanStage TD Dream in High Park since its formation in 1983. For many families, it's an annual summer tradition; the Dream has witnessed a generation of children who attended with their parents and have experienced the magic of Shakespeare's words and the beauty of this setting. Those children are now grown up and bringing their children to the Dream.

This year's production is The Comedy of Errors, a hilarious play about two sets of long-lost twins that find each other unexpectedly in the same place at the same time. Full of mistaken identities, funny meetings and general confusion and chaos, you'll laugh at all the problems that can arise when someone shows up in your town who looks exactly like you do!
