Call It a Day Productions Presents CALL IT A HOLIDAY
Call It A Day Productions celebrates the holiday season with Call It A Holiday 2017 - a holiday cabaret featuring nine performers using collaborative writing, storytelling, and song to share intimate moments and anecdotes all encompassing the emotional whirlwind that is the holiday season. Our performers will share original pieces of writing that span over themes of family, food, festivities, love, loss, financial woes, and substance abuse. The holidays are different for everyone, and the world is a complicated place. Call It A Holiday remains inclusive to all aspects of the holiday season, and the many types of celebrations that come with it.

Call It A Day Productions is a theatre company owned by Lauren Mayer & Danik McAfee. We are committed to creating platforms that feature emerging talent in the Toronto area. To date, we have produced a full-scale musical (The Life by C. Coleman), and are currently in the midst of producing a cabaret series, Call It A Holiday being the third in this series, which follows Remember This? A 90s Cabaret and Alt Rock 101. All of our cabarets feature songs that are rearranged and reinvented to showcase new talent and to create interesting musical/vocal variations on already known and recognized material. We are inclusive of all members of the theatre/performance community regardless of race, sexual orientation, or gender.
