It is Canadian Stage's flagship event promoting the development of artists and new works. It brings together local, national and International Artists to inspire new creative projects; it encourages the exchange of ideas between artistic disciplines; and it supports established artists while fostering the next generation of innovators. The Festival was founded in 2006.

Programming is subject to change. A full schedule of events is available online at canadianstage.com/festival and at Berkeley Street Theatre.
