A MAGIC SHOW to Bring Humor and Illusion to the 2017 Toronto Fringe Festival

By:

A Magic Show presents a unique, humorous theatrical experience featuring magic that is performed completely exposed and right before your eyes. Expect to enjoy magic that is entertaining and innovative, featuring original effects that have been selected specifically for this show.

A Magic Show is a completely different show from the one that Marty presented at the 2015 Hamilton Fringe Theatre Festival; it has been newly created for the Toronto Fringe. Therefore, the three people who attended his Hamilton show, may also come to his Toronto show being reassured that they will not be seeing the same show again. (And yes, one of those three people was Marty's mother.)

A Magic Show does not contain nudity (Marty's mother), animals (offensive to PETA) or female assistants (a sexist stereotype and also, they charge way too much money). What it does contain is people with clothing who, deep down inside, realize that pulling a magic marker out of an empty hat is not nearly as exciting as pulling out a rabbit.

When asked about A Magic Show, Marty Papernick explained that it has already been enjoyed by tens of thousands of people (OK, maybe many hundreds), (OK, maybe he forced his wife to sit through it), but the point is, that it can't possibly be as bad as a tax audit. And besides, unlike a tax audit, it only lasts for 60 minutes. (57 if he goes fast.)
