31st Edmonton Fringe Festival Launches in Alberta, Aug 16-26

The oldest and longest running fringe festival in North America will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada from August 16 – August 26.

A multitude of bizarre and inexplicable events will occur when the Fringed descend upon the Edmonton neighborhood of Old Strathcona for the 31st annual Edmonton International Fringe Festival. This year's event, themed "The Village of the Fringed" will feature more than 1600 performances of 220 unjuried and uncensored plays.

This year, Fringe Theatre Adventures is introducing a new Festival pass initiative. The Frequent Fringer Festival Pass includes 10 single tickets per pass for $110, replacing Frequent Fringer and Double Fringer passes. Frequent Fringer Festival Passes, along with single tickets, will be available at the Fringe Box Office or at www.fringetheatre.ca August 7 at Noon. A limit of two passes per person applies.
