Yesterday, July 10, cast members from DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST were the special guest readers at Story Time in the Children's Library in the Family Centre at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. Cast members Lauren Palmeri and Andrew Betz read from the traditional fairy tale 'Beauty and the Beast' to patients in the Children's Library. The reading was also streamed live into patient rooms throughout the hospital. See below for a photo of the cast members at the event!

Beauty and the Beast opened Thursday night in Toronto, becoming the second to last show that Dancap Productions will produce in Toronto before closing up shop after five years. BWW was on hand to capture photos of the opening night.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is coming to Philadelphia as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization. Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the Academy of Music for 9 performances on June 4 - 10. The engagement is now set to open on Monday, June 4 (from previously scheduled June 5 opening), with the additional performance added due to overwhelming demand.
