In an interview with E! News, Harry Connick Jr. confirmed that he is currently in talks with producers of American Idol to appear as a judge on the next season of the singing competition.

Multi-Grammy Award winning artist, Alicia Keys, will take the stage to perform her new single, “Tears Always Win,” from her hit album, “Girl on Fire.” Also, country artist and Season 10 runner-up, Lauren Alaina, will perform her new single, “Barefoot and Buckwild”.
