Too Many Zooz Announce 2018 Dates In Adelaide, Perth, and New Zealand

Eccentric and original trio Too Many Zooz have announced they'll be returning to Australian in the new year to visit the West Coast and South Coast for the first time.

Too Many Zooz will be taking to the stage at the Garden of Unearthly Delights in Adelaide on Friday, February 16 and a show at the Perth Festival on Wednesday, February 21.

More dates will be announced soon.

Too Many Zooz have only just come off their first Australian tour with dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Mullumbimby and Queenscliffe.

While they were in the country they surprised commuters on a Brisbane train with an original performance named after the iconic Fortitude Valley station, and performed a tribute to the late Malcolm Young in AC/DC Lane, Melbourne.

From the underbelly of New York City's subway stations to gleaming stages alongside Beyoncé; Too Many Zooz have proven their unique take on music can spark a fire in anyone.

Baritone saxophonist Leo P, trumpeter Matt Doe and drummer David 'King of Sludge' Parks met while attending the Manhattan School of Music and quickly set out to use their formal training in informal settings.

Taking to the subway's of New York City, Too Many Zooz earned their reputation busking but it wasn't long until their powerful noise took them to viral fame.

Thriving under the momentum of their quickly growing careers; Too Many Zooz have lent a hand in creating Beyoncé's critically acclaimed album 'Lemondade' as well as shared the stage with the pop superstar.

Their track Warriors is also featured on the new advertisement for the Google Pixel 2 showing across Australia and the world.

Their high-energy single and music video Bedford is an ode to the viral sensation video that sent them into the stratosphere.

"Goose-stepping about the stage in dusky pink suit and dayglo hair like some mind-boggling fusion of Michael Jackson and Monty Python, honking accelerating dance beats, he gave surely one of the zaniest performances ever seen at a Prom. As a visual spectacle, and a demonstration of both musical and athletic virtuosity, it was extraordinary."
The Arts Desk

"Tevening he true highlight of the evening were the outstanding solos of fushia-haired New York-based saxophonist Leo Pellegrino, choreographed to a tee in zebra-striped shoes, in Moanin'. His sheer physical agility while playing his instrument virtuosically was simply unlike anything I have experienced before. Unsurprisingly, he brought the house down.."
Seen & Heard

Too Many Zooz's manic music, dubbed "BrassHouse" by drummer King of Sludge, is an irresistible rocket that combines styles more far-flung than any international space station. As heard on the group's EPs, F NOTE, Fanimals, Brasshouse Volume 1: Survival of the Flyest, The Internet, and LP, Subway Gawdz, Too Many Zooz creates a visceral vocal-free smack-to-the-senses. TMZ's Brasshouse summons EDM, house, techno, and glitch, paired to the indigenous punch of Cuban, Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, and Brazilian Carnival rhythms, heightened by the dancing and saxophone soloing prowess of a bionic Pepper Adams. Like Nortec Collective mashed with Daft Punk by way of a mad sonic scientist, Too Many Zooz has conquered New York City-your headset's resistance is futile.
