Todd McKenney Cast as Captain Hook in THE ADVENTURES OF PETER PAN & TINKER BELL RETURN TO PANTOLAND

Today, Producer Bonnie Lythgoe announced that one of Australia's most popular all round theatre, television, radio and film performers Todd McKenney will play the role of 'Captain Hook' in the World Premiere of THE ADVENTURES OF PETER PAN & TINKER BELL.

When announcing the casting Bonnie Lythgoe said, "By hook or by crook, Todd will be Captain Hook; he is witty and smart and great for the part. Todd is the one and only 'Hook' for me. He sings, he acts and he dances like a dream. Just Perfect!

There was only one actor I visualised to play 'Hook' and that was Todd McKenney. He is so very talented, clever, experienced and flamboyant. The perfect characteristics for the perfect 'Hook'. I am so excited he said 'yes'!"

For the first time ever Bonnie Lythgoe Productions will present their world class pantomime outside of Sydney with the show opening at the Arts Centre on the Gold Coast playing from 23 June to 1 July. Peter Pan will then fly into Sydney's State Theatre from 7 to 16 July then up and away to Melbourne landing in the Comedy Theatre from 21 to 30 July 2017.

This enchanting story will feature sumptuous glittering sets, spectacular effects, gorgeous fairytale costumes, fantastic song and dance numbers, infectious and riotous comedy, magic and bags of audience participation.

Casting is currently underway for the roles of Wendy, Peter, Tinkerbell, Tiger Lilly, Mr & Mrs Darling and the Lost Boys and will be announced in the very near future.
