Lucy Durack Joins JACK AND THE BEANSTALK
Director and Producer, Bonnie Lythgoe is delighted to announce she has cast Hi-5 favourite LACHLAN DEARING to play the role of "Jack" and music theatre favourite LUCY DURACK who will star in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK - a 'GIANT' 3D musical spectacular at Sydney's State Theatre from Friday 12 to Sunday 21 July 2019.
Announcing these wonderful additions to the cast, Bonnie said "I am thrilled to have Lucy Durack, one of Australia's most exciting leading ladies of stage and screen starring in this year's Panto playing the magical role of Fairy Crystal (Spirit of the Beans). Bonnie went on to say, "I have been admiring Lucy from afar and always hoped she would become a cast member and now my wish has come true".
On the casting of LACHLAN DEARING Bonnie said "Lachlan was in rehearsals for "Saturday Night Fever' when he came to audition in his lunch break... although very tired he blew us all away. He is such a multi-talented actor and will make the perfect 'Jack'". Playing 'Jill' opposite 'Jack' is performer ANASTASIA FENERI.
Lucy, Lachlan and Anastasia join Peter Rowsthorn from "Kath & Kim" fame and JIMMY REES aka Jimmy Giggle from ABC's Giggle and Hoot, currently wowing audiences on Dancing with the Stars.
