"My three-month absence can only mean one thing - radical cosmetic surgery," O'Brien says of show's revamp. "Tune in for a true freak show!" Read all about Conan's big TV changes in a recent New York Times interview here.

At the end of 2018, there were other new developments: O'Brien toured USA/Canada on an 18 date live tour - his first stand-up in over eight years. He also launched the excellent new podcast 'Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend', which sees some of the biggest names in entertainment, music, comedy, literature sit down each week. Guests so far have included Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Kristen Bell, Marc Maron, Nick Offerman & Megan Mullaly. Then there's the small matter of a massive online archive, due to launch later this month, which will see clips of ALL Conan's TV work housed in one big website - head to teamcoco.com for info.

Conan Christopher O'Brien was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, and started his path in comedy when he served twice as the president of The Harvard Lampoon. Conan went on to become a writer and producer on several television shows, including "Saturday Night Live" and "The Simpsons", until 1993, when NBC tapped him to take over as host of "Late Night". Since then, Conan has hosted two Emmy Awards, the MTV Movie Awards, conducted two separate multi-city live comedy tours in 2010 and 2018, been the subject of a documentary titled Conan O'Brien Can't Stop, and performed at the White House Correspondent's Dinner for two presidents. He's won three Emmy Awards and six Writer's Guild Awards for comedy writing, the People's Choice Award for 'Favorite Television Host', and is currently helming the show "CONAN", now in its 9th season. His popular CONAN: Without Borders series has visited nine countries including Cuba, Haiti, Mexico, Qatar, Korea, Italy, Berlin, Armenia and Japan. In 2015, Conan became the longest-working current late-night talk show host in the USA, celebrating 25 years in 2018.
