Bonnie Lythgoe Has Found Her Sleeping Beauty And Prince Valiant Director and Producer, Bonnie Lythgoe is thrilled to announce she has cast wonderfully talented, relative newcomer and WAAPA graduate EMBLA BISHOP to play the lead role of 'Sleeping Beauty'. The role of the 'Prince Valient' will be played by DANIEL MILNE, a graduate from the full-time acting course at the Actors Centre.

After the auditions Bonnie said "The key to any successful production is making all the elements fit together. One of the most important being the casting for each role. Embla was the last girl I auditioned in Sydney for 'Sleeping Beauty' and although there were many talented girls, Embla had that extra magic.

Once I had auditioned all the Prince's, there was no doubt in my mind that Daniel ticked all the right boxes. But would the chemistry and spark be there between them when put together? Of course, as in all stories with a happy ending, they performed together, and the mix was just perfect. So, the cast is nearly complete... I will announce who is playing the 'Good Fairy' very soon."
