"Nääämen it's Al Pitcher" - new tour with one of the nation's most acclaimed comics
The country's largest international comic go this fall on tour in Sweden with "Nääämen it's Al Pitcher." It will be a classic standup show with Al Pitchers characteristic unique interaction with the audience and quick-witted humor always find something fun in the unexpected. New Zealander has made ??an outstanding meteoric career in Sweden, and last year's sold-out and critically acclaimed tour wrote the reviewers that "improvisational ability is brilliant" (Västerbotten Courier), the show "world class" (Värmland Folkblad) and "crowd spasm of laughter" (Småland-Posten). On October 21 is the premiere of "Nääämen it's Al Pitcher" at Rival in Stockholm, followed by a tour with stops in over 15 cities.
Al Pitcher finds with lightning quick turns and spontaneous whim the absurdity of the trivial and is a master at fast read and follow the audience's reactions. In their shows usually Zealander also explore the typically Swedish as he encounters and marvel in their everyday lives.
- Many of the things you take for granted, I think is remarkable. As the blue bags you put on your shoes at the gym or at daycare. You get really angry if you do not have them when you go in, but if you are wearing them when you go away, nobody says a word, says Al Pitcher.
After the sold-out and critically acclaimed "Coffee Tour" (2012) and "assumes tour" (2013) it is in the fall time for "Nääämen it's Al Pitcher." show premieres Oct. 21 at Rival in Stockholm and then visit for two months, 17 cities from Ystad in the south to Luleå in the north.
- Live shows are the most important to me and I love to make them for the Swedes. I want every night to be like New Year's Eve, as a big party. I'm not here to talk about politics or my problems, that we have enough of as it is, says Al Pitcher.
