Northwestern State University Department of Theatre and Dance is designated as the Center for Excellence in the Arts for the University of Louisiana System and is one of only 150 programs in the United States accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre.
We specialize in undergraduate training with a BFA in Dance, a BFA in Production and Design, and Theatre degrees with concentrations in Acting & Directing and Musical Theatre.
