Dance St. Louis kicks off its 54th season with a dazzling, intimate performance by eight of the countrys leading principal dancers. After the sold-out success of last years inaugural presentation, Dance St. Louis presents An Evening of Ballet Stars 2a unique one-night-only performance of new works and cherished classical ballet favorites by some of the foremost principal dancers from some of the most notable companies in the country, including San Francisco Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet (Chicago), The Washington Ballet (Washington, D.C.) and more. An Evening of Ballet Stars 2s cast of principal dancers includes: The Washington Ballets Katherine Barkman and Rolando Sarabia The Joffrey Ballets Christine Rocas and Dylan Gutierrez Pennsylvania Ballets Nayara Lopes and Sterling Baca (formerly with American Ballet Theatre) Cuban-born international principal guest artist Adiarys Almeida (formerly with National Ballet of Cuba) and San Francisco Ballets Taras DomitroSingle tickets for balcony seating are $55 and go on sale September 3.
