The Playhouse at Westport Presents: The Improv Trick vs. The Arch Rivals in an Improv Comedy Stagematch!

Witness the comedy and action as The Improv trick goes head to head in a Stagematch of Improvisation against the Arch Rivals on Friday, September 17th and Saturday, September 18th at 10:00pm in the Westport Playhouse of Westport Plaza. Doors open at 9:45pm and tickets are just $5 at the box office. No minimum drink purchase.... Mature audiences only please, 18 and over.

Improvisation is a comedic performance that is totally unscripted and live, using games and audience suggestions to create on-the-spot comedy and laughs. Stagematch is a show of both The Improv Trick and The Arch Rivals who will battle it out against each other on stage using comedy and jokes as their only weapon. The winner of the Stagematch will be determined by the audience's applause for bragging rights of being the funniest improv troupe.

The Improv Trick is founded by Bill Chott, star of Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place,The Ringer, SNL, and Second City. For the past 5 years, The Improv Trick has been dedicated to teaching improv at its school located on Cherokee Street in St. Louis. The Improv Trick has performed at numerous venues such as Westport Playhouse, Gaslight Square, Mangia Italiano, Lemmon's, and most recently at 117 Days at The Pageant.

The Arch Rivals are an improv troupe of guys who have been bringing laughs to the stage for many years and have performed at places like the Comedy Forum, Focal Point, Lemmon's, and Soulard Coffee Garden.
