It's 1912, and Harold Hill, the every-time-a-bulls-eye salesman, has just chugged into River City, Iowa, bringing with him a sample case full of trouble. Marian the Librarian, her little brother Winthrop, and their Iowa-stubborn neighbors will never be quite the same again. What a score! What a story! What a show!
