Insight Theatre Company presents Harper Lee's literary classic To Kill A Mockingbird, September 20-30, 2012.

Christopher Sergel’s stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s novel addresses its themes of racism, integrity, violence, and the redemptive power of goodness in humans seen through the innocent eyes of three children. This is a memory play which reveals the ugliness of socio-economic injustices, making it universally appealing and relevant for today’s audiences who face similar issues in difficult domestic and global economies.

Insight Theatre’s Director Thomas Martin said: "...it is my job to hold it up and re-examine it as a compass for our present trajectory.”

With this in mind, Martin will direct a large cast which includes Bruce Longworth (Atticus), Lillian Orchard (Scout), Braden Phillips (Jem), Charlie B. Southern (Dill), and ThomasIna Clarke (Calpurnia).

Insight Theatre Company offers audiences a centrally-located Heagney Theater in Webster Groves, ample parking, and a host of moderately priced restaurants, dessert spots and coffee houses to pair with an evening or matinee performance.
