First Run Theatre Accepting One-Act & Full-Length Plays For Play Reading Fest In 2/10

First Run Theatre is now accepting one-act and full-length plays for consideration in its 8th annual Play Reading Festival in February 2010, and for possible inclusion in our 2010-2011 season. Submissions are being accepted from now until November 30th. All playwrights must reside in the Greater Saint Louis area (within a 50-mile radius of the city of Saint Louis, Missouri.)

Playwrights may make as many submissions as they wish.

Submission Requirements:
Four hardcopies of the submitted script without any playwright name or contact information. This includes the cover sheet and all headers and footers.

A separate contact sheet with complete contact information for the playwright and the play being submitted.

Name

Phone number (either home, cell or both)

Email address

Mailing address

If submission is a musical, there must be an accompanying tape or CD of the music.

Optional introductory letter

Optional softcopy of script in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, RTF (Rich Formatted Text), or Plain text on any electronic media.

Script Requirements:
Script is printed or typed (one-sided only).

Script has never been produced on stage in its submitted form.

Script has never been published.

Script must have a cover sheet with play title but without
playwrights name or contact info.

Script must have a cast of characters list.

Script must have a list of Acts and Scenes if applicable.

Script pages must be numbered.

Script should be longer than 40 minutes in length.
