Echo's NERVE Rescheduled For 7/10-25

By:

Due to scheduling conflicts and construction delays in the company’s new performance venue, Echo Theatre Company has moved its June production of “Nerve” to July 10-25, 2009.  (The show was originally scheduled to open June 5.)   In the July production of Adam Szymkowicz’s dark romantic comedy about the hazards and hilarity of online dating, Charlie Barron will play Elliot and Colleen Backer will play Susan.

“Echo wants to give our audiences the best production of ‘Nerve’ we can provide,” said Artistic Director Eric Little.  “The cast, staff and board felt that rescheduling the show was the best way to accomplish this goal.  I’m grateful that our new venue in the ArtSpace at Crestwood Court affords us this rare opportunity.”

Performance dates are July 10-12, 16-19 and 23-25.  Show times are at 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 7:00 p.m. on Sundays.  On Friday, July 24, there will be shows at both 8:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.  “Nerve” will be held in Echo’s performance venue, Theatre 134, in the ArtSpace at Crestwood Court.  The theater is located in the Crestwood Court shopping center at the corner of Watson and Sappington Roads (formerly Crestwood Plaza Mall).

Single tickets are $15.  Tickets for students with a valid ID are 2/$20 at the door.  Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets at 1.800.838.3006 and on-line through Echo’s website at www.echotheatrecompany.org.  For more information, call 314.225.4329.

Description:  Elliot has never had an online date before... at least one that showed up.  Susan has had plenty but would prefer not to discuss them.  When they meet in a bar one night, all their neuroses come out.  So do a puppet, some modern dance and a desperation that may or may not be love.
