The Banda Municipal de Bilbao acts in this concert of the autumn-winter season under the baton of Maestro Belgian Frank De Vuyst. He is a graduate in music theory, pedagogy, saxophone and professional band conducting, as well as studying conducting in Vienna (Austria) with maestro Richard Edlinger. As guest conductor he has performed in Belgium, Holland, USA, Argentina, Colombia, Korea of the South, Portugal or Spain. He has been resident conductor of the bands Symphony of the Ateneo Musical de Cullera, Unión Musical de Ondara and Union Musical Utielana. He is currently conductor of the instructive Center Musical "La Armónica" de Buñol and the Agrupación Artística de Denia, and artistic director of the Symphonic Band of the network of schools of music in Medellin, Colombia. As director, with all of them he has won dozens of awards in all the competitions in which has participated in and outside of Spain. It is in possession of the Golden baton of the international contest "Vila d´Altea" for having won it three times.
