Original musical Darkest Before the Dawn inspired by area teenagers and their COVID-19 experiencesAn original musical inspired by the COVID-19 experience as seen through the eyes of area teenagers is set to debut on the Grand Strand. Darkest Before the Dawn is a theatrical production that uses monologues and songs to express the gamut of emotions and experiences of the young cast members. The musical will be held at the Crown Reef Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach on March 6 at 7 p.m. and March 7 at 3 p.m. A limited number of tickets will be sold for each show, and attendees will be required to wear masks.
