The Abbeville Opera House Closes TIL BETH DO US PART, 7/24
By: BWW News Desk
Summer Season 2010 second show Til Beth Do Us Part opens on Friday, July 9, 2010
The show introduces Gibby and Suzannah Hayden, played by Michael Genevie and Opera House favorite actress Kay Gross from Augusta. The couple has been together twenty-seven years when another woman, Suzannah's new assistant, Beth, played by another Opera House favorite, Lisa McConnell, enters the picture and wreaks havoc on their lives. Surprisingly, Beth isn't after Suzannah's husband, she wants her career and she'll stop at nothing to achieve her goal -- with outrageous and side-splitting results. Other members of the talented Opera House veteran ensemble include Monique Sacay-Bagwell as Margo, David Eller as Hank and Patricia deVroomin as Celia Carmichael. Stage Manager for the show is Lori Eller and Wendy Capps will be in charge of Lights and Sound. Performances for Til Beth Do Us Part will be Friday and Saturday, July 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24 at 8:00 pm and there will be three Saturday matinees at 3pm on July 10, 17 and 24.
