A retelling of Edgar Lee Masters' 1915 poetry, this version -- written by Jason Pizzarello -- introduces the audience to 40 of the people that once inhabited Spoon River, IL. Coming back to life for just a brief time, characters share their stories of love, loss, curiosity, redemption, and introspection, all while surrounded by a chorus of other souls.
