MAMMA MIA!, ANNIE and More Set for Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres in 2018 ImageThe Round Barn Theatre at Amish Acres has announced its 2018 seven show repertory season. It includes "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Red!"

The season features the recently released to regional theatre's "Mamma Mia!" Featuring the music of ABBA, the nostalgia of "The Rat Pack Lounge" where Frank, Dean, and Sammy hold court, the 32nd production of "Plain and Fancy," "Happy Days" a new musical, "Barry Manilow's Copacabana," "Lend Me A Tenor," and, for the first time in 22 years, the theatre's first revival of everyone's favorite red head, "Annie!"

"Plain and Fancy" at Amish Acres is now the second longest currently running musical in America following Broadway's "Phantom of the Opera."

The season includes 280 performances from April 11 through December 31st. "Plain and Fancy" will run Tuesday evenings, Wednesday and Saturday matinees. All other shows are performed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings plus matinees on Thursday and Sunday.

The Round Barn Theatre is Northern Indiana's only producing theatre with sets, costumes and props all designed and built by a full time artistic staff. The professionally acting company is housed on the farm's campus. A season subscription base numbering into the thousands provide the core of the audiences which come from across the country during visits to Amish Acres Historic Farm & Heritage Resort.

Season tickets are now on sale and those purchasing subscriptions before October 31 receive a free ticket to this year's holiday musical, "Disney's Little Mermaid." Subscription options include several dinner theatre packages. Through the Joseph Stein Young Actors Memorial Fund, Children receive free season tickets with the purchase of accompanying adult subscriptions. Early subscribers also may make seat reservations for the entire season, receive an invitation to a preview party, and receive over $100 in additional benefits, including discounted rooms at The Inn at Amish Acres.
