Join the Toa Payoh West Community Club Chinese Orchestra in an east-meets-west concert that will delight both Chinese music enthusiasts and Western music lovers. Enjoy an afternoon of lively classics including Hungarian Dances, Carmen Overture, Farandole from L'Arlésienne Suite No.2, and more!
Established in 2001, the orchestra serves as a platform for young musicians to develop their talents and to explore their passion for music. Led by its founding music director Zhang Yu Ming, the orchestra has won many significant accolades in the National Chinese Music Competition organised by the National Arts Council.
