Formed in 1970, The Singapore Chinese Girls' School Band is today one of Singapore's most active school music ensembles.
Besides holding five concerts over the past five years, the band also performs regularly in public at places such as Orchard Road, Sentosa, and The Singapore Flyer. Under the baton of Mr. Marvin Khoo, the SCGS Band will feature music from the operetta, Die Fledermaus, as well as the 2007 Disney movie, Enchanted.
The band's 2015 Limelight appearance marks the third time the band will be featured by
The Esplanade.
