Giselle, choreographed by Jean Coralli & Jules Perrot and staged by Artistic Director Janek Schergen, is one of the golden romantic classical ballets. Giselle is an amalgamated tale of devotion, betrayal and deception that epitomises this tragic love story. It tells the love story between a village maiden, Giselle and a nobleman, Albrecht. SDT will be staging this full-length classical production outdoors, amidst the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park.
