The holiday season is not complete without the perfect music to accompany it. After a two year Pandemic Pause 'Broadway's Carols for a Cure 2022' is back with the 22nd recording that embodies the spirit of the season like nothing else can.

BroadwayWorld was in the recording studio with Mars Rucker of A Strange Loop as they laid down their vocal track of the song “Misty”.  Originally written by Erroll Garner and Johnny Burker it has been given an updated version for the holiday season with a new arrangement by Ben Cohn who also was the Music Director. ​​​​​​​Back in full swing, after Covid interruptions, is the Glendale Brand Library and Associates’ annual spring dance series, always curated with love and care by Jamie Nichols, and organized by Art Librarian Erin Herzog on the grounds and at the beautiful Glendale Brand Library. On an absolutely perfect spring day the first in a series of three dance presentations was performed by the formidable Nickerson–Rossi dance company.  The performance was Saturday, May 7, 2022, with a workshop with the Company on Sunday, May 8, 2022. These events are free and open to the public, made possible by the Brand Associates.

Bill Castellino directs and choreographs. Cast members include Almeria Campbell, Victoria Casillo, Daniela Delahuerta, Matthew Liu, Jesse Manocherian, Sarah Nandola, Pearl Rhein, Noah Ruebeck, Hansel Tan, and Miles Whittaker. Twenty-five performances will be staged from April 23 – May 22, 2022, at Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre, 338 West 23rd Street, New York, NY 11201.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE The Los Angeles Memorial/Tribute for Alan Johnson at The Performing Arts Center October 14, 2018 Alan Johnson was truly a man of many talents. On Sunday, October 14th, 2018, friends, all of whom are either dancers, choreographers, directors or actors, or all combined, that have had the honor to work with or befriend him, gathered at The Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA, owned by Joe Malone and Nanci Hammond Malone, two superb dancers/teachers that donated their facility for this event, to honor, reminisce and celebrate Alan's wondrous life and career.
