The excitement of last weekend's opening night performance of Cyrano by Stephen Sachs, a co-production between The Fountain Theatre and Deaf West Theatre, was given an added thrill by the attendance of film/TV actress Marlee Matlin. Matlin is a longtime supporter and patron of Deaf West, and she starred in the CBS television movie version of Sachs' 1997 play Sweet Nothing in my Ear, which also premiered at the Fountain. Deaf West Theatre, Ed Waterstreet, Artistic Director, has announced their next production, My Sister In This House by Wendy Kesselman. Directed by Michael Unger, My Sister In This House began previews on Saturday, April 10 and is set to open on Saturday, April 17 at 8pm.

On the Main Stage at Williamstown Theatre Festival is True West, by Sam Shepard, directed by former Boris Sagal Directing Fellow Daniel Goldstein (Walmartopia, Godspell). True West opened July 15 and runs through July 26, 2009.
