Dutch Kills Theater is presenting the New York Premiere of THE ANTELOPE PARTY by Eric John Meyer. It is directed by 2017 Lucille Lortel Award winner Jess Chayes (HOME/SICK, Half Moon Bay) with dramaturgy by Sarah Lunnie (What the Constitution Means to Me, Grand Horizons, Hillary and Clinton, A Doll’s House Part 2). 

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory will start 2020 with the surprisingly delightful Gruesome Playground Injuries, a contemporary play by 2010 Pulitzer Prize finalist, Rajiv Joseph. Ashley Teague directs the story of two people and the unique relationship they build over a lifetime of injuries, both physical and emotional. This sharp-witted and dark comedy will run from January 1 - 19, in the Cook Theatre with a pay-what-you-can (minimum $5) preview night on December 31.

Critics and audiences are raving about Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People at Centenary Stage Company, which continues its run now through March 3 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center.  "The complicated plot is expertly brought to life by a superb cast... the translation by John Alan Wyatt, the rhetoric is eloquent and fast-paced." (Jane Primerano, NJ Arts Maven) Adapted by John Alan Wyatt and directed by Anne Occhiogrosso, the production stars Randall Duk Kim as Doctor Thomas Stockmann. The full-scale production marks the culmination of the 2018 Gates Ferry Lecture Series: "What is Truth?"

Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso headline Centenary Stage Company's production of Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People, February 15 through March 3 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center, Hackettstown, New Jersey. Music Theatre Wichita concludes its 2018 Season with the return of Disney's "The Little Mermaid," directed and choreographed by Linda Goodrich, with musical direction by Thomas W. Douglas. The 60-member cast includes Broadway veterans working alongside some of the nation's most promising new talent, all showcased in an brand-new staging, featuring imaginative sets and costumes inspired by the classic Disney film. In 2011, Music Theatre Wichita was one of the first three theatres in the country to receive permission from the Disney Company to produce this title following its Broadway run, and the new edition marks the local premiere of the newly revised script and score. "The Little Mermaid" runs for ten performances, August 8-18 at the Century II Concert Hall in downtown Wichita, Kansas.

The CHICAGO ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns for its ninth year! The marathon evening of one-minute plays by 70 of Chicago's established and emerging playwrights and directors plays two nights only, Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27 at 8 pm at The Den Theatre, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

The Barrow Group Theatre Company (Seth Barrish and Lee Brock, Co- Artistic Directors; Robert Serrell, Executive Director), recipient of a Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award, continues their 2017-2018 season with the World Premiere of The Thing with Feathers, a play by Scott Organ. Directed by Company Co-Artistic Director Seth Barrish, the four-member cast features Zachary Booth (The Winslow Boy, Damages ), as Eric, DeAnna Lenhart (Point Last Seen, Phoenix) as Beth, Robert Manning, Jr. (Magic/Bird, Blue Bloods ) as Tim, and Alexa Shae Niziak (Matilda the Musical, A Christmas Story the Musical) as Anna.

Motown The Musical, which recently celebrated its first birthday in London, is currently booking at the Shaftesbury Theatre to 24 February 2018. With music and lyrics from the Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, the production features a sixteen-piece orchestra playing 50 Motown tracks including Ain't No Mountain High Enough, I'll Be There, Dancing In The Street, Stop!
