Father Comes Home from the Wars Parts 1, 2 & 3 Photos - Off-Broadway

The Flea Theater presents the World Premiere of SCRAPS written by Geraldine Inoa, a writer on The Walking Dead and the inaugural recipient of The Shonda Rhimes Unsung Voices Playwriting Commission. It is directed by Flea Artistic Director Niegel Smith. Now in previews, opening night is slated for Thursday, August 30.

Goodman Theatre presents the Chicago premiere of Father Comes Home From the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3) by Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Niegel Smith. Parks, in her 'finest work yet' (New York Times), serves up 'an American story as much about our present as it is about our past' (Los Angeles Times).

Underbelly Productions have today announced full casting for a brand new production of Clarke Peters' Olivier Award-winning and Tony-Award nominated musical, Five Guys Named Moe. The production will open on 14 September 2017 in a new temporary theatre in Marble Arch, London. The 2014 recipients of the Horton Foote Prize, named in honor of the legendary writer, to award excellence in American Theater, were just presented last night. The 2014 Prize for the 2012-13/2013-14 seasons' Outstanding New American Play was awarded to The Body of an American by Dan O'Brien and the 2014 Prize for Promising New American Play was awarded to Father Comes Home from the Wars (Parts 1, 2, & 3) by Suzan-Lori Parks.
