Monty Python's Spamalot

Python fans are to be offered the opportunity to bid for iconic items from the hit West End musical, Monty Python's SPAMALOT as the show concludes its run in the West End. Amongst the items up for auction are the Holy Grail which has adorned the front of the Palace Theatre since the show opened, the infamous killer rabbit with nasty pointy teeth, a Knight of Ni and French Taunter costume and in a paean to the expletive a 13 metres by 9.5 metres painted back cloth featuring the words ?Piss Off'.

On Saturday 3 January 2009, King Arthur will announce his abdication as he finally gives up the throne at the Palace Theatre in London.

Alan Dale joins the cast of Monty Python's Spamalot as King Arthur on Monday March 3 at the Palace Theatre, London.

Nina Söderquist, Spamalot's new Lady of the Lake, began her first week of performances at the Palace Theatre, London after winning first place in 'West End Star' television reality casting show.

On Saturday, February 2 Nina Söderquist was crowned as the new Lady of the Lake for the hit West End Musical Monty Python's Spamalot. Having won TV3's 'West End Star,' going head to head with Linda Holmgren in the Swedish live TV final, Nina received over 59% of the votes from the viewing public declaring her the winner. Söderquist will have her first performance as The Lady of the Lake at the Palace Theatre on Monday February 11, 2008

After a six month search in Sweden the two finalists - Linda Holmgreen and Nina Soderquist - will perform live in TV3's 'West End Star' series finale this Saturday 2 February, battling it out to win the holy grail of prizes: the role of The Lady of the Lake in the West End production of Monty Python's Spamalot.

Alan Dale, best know on television for playing Publishing mogul Bradford Meade in Ugly Betty, will join the London cast of Monty Python's Spamalot at the Palace Theatre from 3 March 2008 to play King Arthur, following in the footsteps of Tim Curry, Simon Russell Beale and Peter Davison (who continues in the role until 1 March 2008). Currently playing to packed houses at the Palace Theatre the award-winning and record-breaking Monty Python's Spamalot is booking until 27 September 2008.

Monty Python's 'Spamalot' continues making history across the United States, as the National Tour begins performances tonight, Tuesday, January 15th in Boston, MA at Boston Opera House. Featuring a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, a killer rabbit and one legless knight, Spamalot will next be seen in Providence, RI beginning Tuesday, January 29th.
