Everyday Rapture 2010

Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Everyday Rapture, starring Sherie Rene Scott will end its limited engagement on Sunday, July 11th at 2:00PM.

Sherie Rene Scott, star and creator of Everyday Rapture, along with her co-creator Dick Scanlan and co-stars Betsy Wolfe, Eamon Foley and Lindsay Mendez celebrated the release of the Everyday Rapture Cast Album (out by Ghostlight Records) with a CD signing for fans at the American Airlines Theatre.

To celebrate the worldwide, in-store release of the original cast recording of Everyday Rapture, the much raved about musical co-written by and starring Sherie Rene Scott, the entire cast will be holding an in-theater CD signing immediately following the 7:00 PM performance on Tuesday, June 15.

Fans of Everyday Rapture now have their shot at semi-semi stardom! Log on to www.facebook.com/RoundaboutTheatreCompany to submit a video of yourself lip synching a song from the musical before June 27th.

Sherie Rene Scott has starred in some of the biggest shows on Broadway - she's played Amneris in Aida, Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Marty in Grease, Maureen in Rent and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Currently, Scott is starring in Everyday Rapture, which she has co-written with Dick Scanlan. Everyday Rapture opened on April 29th, and is set to close on July 11th. The production also had an off-Broadway run at the Second Stage Theatre in 2009. BroadwayWorld Reporter Nick Orlando spoke with Scott about the transfer from off-Broadway to Broadway, and character Sherie versus real-life Sherie.
