Mr. Fox: A Rumination

Today's episode features stage and screen star Bill Irwin. 'I grew up in the 1950s with Jackie Gleeson, Art Carney, Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin as my heroes, which of course I only new through this fairly new medium... I came into being right at the cusp of this technology that we live in,' Irwin explained. 

Since 1923, EAG's Annual Memorial Service has brought together members of the performing arts community on an afternoon in November to celebrate the lives and work of our colleagues who have passed away in the previous year. This unique event features music, reflection, and a reading of the names of those being remembered, which is always followed by a heartfelt standing ovation.

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), closes its 75th anniversary season with Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland on April 27, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019). Musical Staging by Andrew Palermo, Costume Consulting by Tracy Christensen, and Concert Adaptation by Joe Keenan and Ted Sperling.

The production will be conducted by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature previously announced stars Kelli O'Hara, Bill Irwin, Lauren Worsham, Christopher Fitzgerald - with Jonathan Freeman, Chris Sullivan, and Jeffrey Schecter just joining the lineup - alongside 130 singers of MasterVoices, with Orchestra of St. Luke's.

After paying tribute to artistic inspirations during Fall 2016's DEMO, Damian Woetzel continues to unite artists from across fields around a common theme in performance on April 3, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. in the Eisenhower Theater. This installment of the multi-genre series brings together acclaimed artists for a special one-night performance to celebrate the combination of song and dance.

Jon Robin Baitz' play The Paris Letter will close at the Laura Pels Theatre on August 7th after 69 performances and 31 previews
