Acclaimed stage and screen actor Norm Lewis will headline Skylight Night 2022, an annual fundraiser supporting Skylight Music Theatre. It will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in the main ballroom of the Woman’s Club of Wisconsin.

The 32nd Annual Virginia Film Festival will feature a deep and diverse program of more than 150 films, including some of the hottest titles on the festival circuit today, and an array of special guests from throughout the industry, and from across the globe. The Ojai Film Festival celebrates twenty years of bringing film to Ojai. This year the festival pays tribute to vintage Hollywood with Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring actors Pat Boone and Eva Marie Saint. Continuing a longstanding tradition, this annual festival spotlights ecology with FOCUS EARTH - a full day dedicated to environmental films and eco-shorts. The film Living In The Future's Past, a beautifully photographed environmental documentary, directed by Susan Kucera and narrated/produced by Jeff Bridges, headlines this event. A reception and Q&A with the director follows the film screening on November 10, at 4 pm.

Adams and Ollman and Chapter NY are pleaseed to collaboratively present Julie Bena, Julie Curtiss, and Joy Feasley in a group exhibiton as part of Condo New York, on view June 29 through July 27, 2018.   Julie Bena works in performance, sculpture, film, and installation creating open-ended and surreal narrative works that combine influences of populare culture, listerature, and mythology. For Condo, Adams and Ollman and Chapter NY will present the first part of  Bena's film Have you seen Patopan Rose?. In her performance Bena brings Pantopon Rose, a fleeting character in William S. Bourroughs' 1959 novel Nake Lunch, to life in a surrealist narrative.

Working intimately with directors like Yasujiro Ozu, Akira Kurosawa, Kenji Mizoguchi and Kon Ichikawa on some of their most important films, Kazuo Miyagawa (1908-99) pushed Japanese cinema to its highest artistic peaks through his lyrical, innovative, and technically flawless camerawork. Considered the greatest cinematographer of postwar Japanese cinema whose career endured through the 1990s, Miyagawa has influenced generations of leading filmmakers around the world.

California Musical Theatre announced the 2016-17 Broadway Sacramento season at the Community Center Theater, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series, one of which has been produced in the round at Music Circus a number of times but never before part of Broadway Sacramento.
