The National Theatre has announced that Director and Choreographer Miranda Cromwell; author, academic, and dramaturg Dr Sophie Duncan; and Pulitzer-winning playwright Lynn Nottage have been appointed as Artistic Associates.

The restoration of Michelangelo's Pietà dell'Opera del Duomo, better known as the Bandini Pietà, in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence has been completed. the restoration process provided a unique opportunity to gain a better understanding of the sculpture's complex history, the various phases in its creation, and the master's techniques.

With over 200 shows presented at FringeNYC Festival and 900 at Edinburgh Fringe, it's hard to be in the know about what's worth seeing. Even worse is having missed the show everyone is talking about post festival. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, the Fringe Encore Series will present some of the most critically-acclaimed and crowd-pleasing shows from both festivals. But more importantly, pinpoints and cultivates the theater talent of tomorrow.
