The Year of Magical Thinking

On Friday, May 11 at 12 AM on Thirteen, 'Theater Talk' will welcome legendary actress Vanessa Redgrave, now starring on Broadway in Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking.

Just as everyone deals with the grief of the loss of a loved one in their own personal way, I imagine individual reactions to this stage adaptation of Joan Didion's memoir recounting her own grieving process after the loss of her husband, will be quite varied and, ultimately, personal.

The Year of Magical Thinking will be featured on 'The Today Show' on Friday morning, April 13, between 8:30-9:00AM

The Year of Magical Thinking, starring Vanessa Redgrave and based on the best-selling memoir by Joan Didion, opened at the Booth Theatre on March 29th, and BroadwayWorld was there for the star-studded evening!

The Year of Magical Thinking will enjoys its world premiere March 29, at Broadway's Booth Theatre. The one-woman production, written by acclaimed author Joan Didion and based on her best-selling memoir, stars Vanessa Redgrave (Oscar-winner for Julia) and will run for a limited engagement of 24 weeks.
