Bay Street Theater has announced their take on AS YOU LIKE IT, by William Shakespeare, directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, with original music by Stephen Schwartz, will run from August 8 - September 3. Peter Dinklage (GAME OF THRONES) emceed a sold-out benefit for The Play Company on Monday, April 30 at the American Airlines Theatre in Manhattan. Among those who attended CABARET GOURMET 2012 were Dinklage's wife Erica Schmidt, who directed Play Co's Obie Award-winning production of Jonas Khemiri's play INVASION!, along with producer Ruth Hendel (FELA!), The Play Company's Founding Producer Kate Loewald and Executive Producer Lauren Weigel. SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell ([title of show]), music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific, Newsies) currently stars David Garrison ("Married With Children," Wicked, Titanic) as Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Jenn Harris (Modern Orthodox) as Clarice Starling. The cast also includes Stephen Bienskie (The Last Session) as the notorious Buffalo Bill, Lucia Spina (Legally Blonde) as Catherine Martin, Deidre Goodwin (Chicago) as Ardelia Mapp. And Callan Bergmann (Lucky Guy), Pamela Bob (People Like Us), Harry Bouvy (Spamalot), Ashlee Dupre (Where's Charley?), Howard Kaye (Mamma Mia!), Topher Nuccio (Little Shop of Horrors), and Doug Trapp (Saratoga Trunk Songs).
