The Five Irish Tenors make a much-anticipated stop at the Spencer Theater on Saturday, February 25 at 7 p.m. for a concert packed with their grand vocal tradition of lyricism, dramatic flair, boisterous charm and operatic style. A room in a country house sings of those who have lived there over a span of seventy years. Performed with striking theatricality by the OBIE-award winning Talking Band, The Room Sings, uses an array of genres to tell the stories of four interlocking sets of people. As their individual stories unfold they intertwine and illuminate each other.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present the World Premiere of American Ballet Theatre's new production of Whipped Cream, choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, with sets and costumes by pop-surrealist Mark Ryden. The South Bend Civic Theatre recently opened their new show, It's a Wonderful Life, for the holiday season under the direction of Jewel Abram-Copenhaver. Being one of the most classic stories of all time, SBCT really put on all the bells and whistles to make this show a spectacular piece of Christmas theatre. There were a few details that were outstandingly done in this rendition of an ageless show; these few things really made SBCT's version of It's a Wonderful Life one of the better ones I've seen.
