The dead soldiers rise up pleading to be allowed to rejoin the living. Word of their insurrection spreads rapidly. The generals, the news media, their families and their sweethearts plead with them to lie down and be buried, but these soldiers will not be so easily forgotten.

William Inge's classic play, Bus Stop, runs tonight, February 1-24, 2013 at Raleigh Little Theatre in the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre. The play transpires in a diner during a snow storm, transforming a group of strangers in to something much more. The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that the cast of the acclaimed epic musical GIANT will enter the recording studio in January to create an original cast album, which will be released by Ghostlight Records in spring 2013. GIANT officially opened at The Public on November 15 and features a book by Sybille Pearson, music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa, and direction by Michael Greif. The show will end its limited run at The Public Theater at Astor Place on Sunday, December 16 following a final two-week extension.

Performing tonight, November 30 - December 16 at The Heritage Center in Morrisville, Actors' NET of Bucks County presents Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's You Can't Take It With You, which debuted on Broadway in 1936, won The Pulitzer Prize the following year and has been an audience favorite ever since. NBC will celebrate the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree with a live broadcast from Rockefeller Center in New York City tonight, November 28 (8-9 p.m. ET). The star-studded holiday special will feature performances from Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green (NBC's 'The Voice'), Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Rod Stewart and Il Volo, and special appearances by Billy Crystal and Bette Milder.
