The tour kicks off May 24, 2013 at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM will play in the Academy of Music on June 5-6, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. and June 8 at 8 p.m. for three performances only.

Tigers Be Still will play a three-week limited engagement at the DRILLING COMPANY THEATER (236 West 78 Street, Floor 3). Performances begin tonight, May 9 and continue through Saturday, May 25. The Metropolitan Opera's 2013-14 season will feature many of the world's greatest singers, conductors, and theater artists in 26 operas, including six new productions, of a varied repertory that ranges from the Baroque era to the 21st century. Met Music Director James Levine will return to the Met podium for the first time in two years, conducting three operas with which he has long been associated: a new production of Verdi's final masterpiece Falstaff, Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, and Berg's Wozzeck. Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi will be conducting two operas in the 2013-14 season, Rossini's La Cenerentola and Puccini's Madama Butterfly.

Directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman, with music by Felix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production and is written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt. Performances begin Monday, April 15th at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), and will play through Sunday, May 5th. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 18th. Larry Magid and BASE Entertainment are executive producers of THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM.

Fifty-four years after its Broadway premiere, the Huntington Theatre Company presents A Raisin in the Sun, Lorraine Hansberry's landmark family classic about deferred dreams. Liesl Tommy (Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Ruined - IRNE Award for Best Director and Production) returns to the Huntington to helm the production that features Leroy McClain (the title role in Hamlet at California Shakespeare Theater) as Walter Lee Younger and Kimberly Scott (Molly Cunningham in Joe Turner's Come and Gone - Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations) as matriarch Lena Younger.

Sarasota Opera has a long history of bringing opera to the people along the Gulf Coast. Starting in 1960 when the group was called Asolo Opera Guild the company presented a touring chamber-sized company, Turnau Opera's productions in the 320 seat Asolo Theater at the Sarasota Ringling Museum of Art. Starting in 1973 the company began producing their own productions when they recognized the need for a theater more conducive to opera. The company bought the former A.B. Edwards Theater and began renovations in 1982. In 1984 the company, now being called Sarasota Opera, opened the Sarasota Opera House which is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
