Lyrics & Lyricists will return to the stage of the 92nd Street Y’s historic Kaufmann Concert Hall for the 50th anniversary season of the country’s preeminent American Songbook series. L&L features artists from theater and beyond presenting original shows with award-winning Broadway and cabaret performers.

Entitled, “A Song for You: An Evening with Darius de Haas” and created especially for the Playhouse, the concert includes songs from the Great American Songbook to Broadway to beloved artists like Nat King Cole and Stevie Wonder. Performances will be held at Bucks County Playhouse on Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10 at 8 pm.

New York City Center announced today that Patrick Wilson will join the cast of Brigadoon this fall. Legendary theatrical sound designer Abe Jacob will be honored for his pioneering career achievements at the Live Design Awards on Monday, June 13 in New York. The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Renowned director, Globe alumnus, and Tony Award nominee Mark Lamos (Compleat Female Stage Beauty, Pentecost, Resurrection Blues) returns to the Globe with one of Shakespeare's most delightful and boisterous comedies. The Wrap writes that Ian McShane will star alongside Patrick Wilson in Atlas Independent and Relativity International's THE MAN ON CARRION ROAD. Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego will direct from a script by Nils Lyew.

In a recent interview with the Examiner, stage and screen star Patrick Wilson revealed that he'll be heading back to Broadway next year. When asked if he had plans to return to the stage, he responded: 'You know, I'm looking. I actually am going to do something in the spring for a very short while - I won't go into it but I literally agreed to it about an hour ago. But yeah, I'm going to sing again in the spring, at least for a little bit. I'm trying to find something. This is the longest I've ever gone without doing a musical. It's been like 11 years.'
