Walnut Street Theatre's 2015-2016 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with one of Eugene O'Neill's greatest dramatic works, A Moon for the Misbegotten. Philadelphia audiences will be the first to see this production before it becomes the sixth national tour of a Walnut Street Theatre production. Directed by Kate Galvin, the production begins previews in Philadelphia on January 12th, opens January 14th and continues through February 7th.

Tony Award-winning star of theater, film, and television - will join this year's edition of the New York Philharmonic's annual New Year's Eve celebration, La Vie Parisienne, narrating Saint-Sae?ns's Carnival of the Animals. Billy Elliot the Musical today (16 November 2015) welcomes Euan Garrett, 12 years old from East Lothian, Scotland, who will make his West End stage debut at the Victoria Palace Theatre as the forty-second boy to play the title role in the iconic British musical in London.  Also joining the cast today is Matthew Seadon-Young who will play Billy's older brother Tony.

?The fringed curtains of thine eye advance and will look upon the 2016 season of Shakespeare in the Park by Shakespeare Dallas. The 2016 season features two classic Shakespeare plays, Richard III and The Tempest, as well as She Stoops to Conquer, by the comedic Irish playwright, Oliver Goldsmith. Prior to the season's opening in June, general auditions will be held Jan. 23-24. The performances of the popular outdoor theater series will take place at Samuell Grand Amphitheater, 1500 Tenison Parkway in Dallas and at Addison Circle Park, 4970 Addison Circle, in Addison, and is expected to draw crowds totaling 50,000 individuals every summer and fall.

The winner of the seventh Papatango New Writing Prize, Tomcat by James Rushbrooke will receive a four week run at Southwark Playhouse from Wednesday 28 October (press night: Friday 30 October 8pm) to Saturday 21 Nov 2015.
