Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the West Coast premiere of Treasure Island by Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman. Critically praised as "nothing short of sublime" (Chicago-Sun Times), and "Zimmerman remains a superior storyteller " (Chicago Tribune), Treasure Island, a co-production with Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company, is a glorious adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's most beloved novel. 59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TOAST, written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode. Produced by Snapdragon Productions, in association with Jagged Fence Theatre for the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival, TOAST begins performances on Wednesday, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 22.  Press opening is Wednesday, April 27 at 7 PM.

This Spring/Summer, Theatre N16 will be producing 3 inhouse productions: in April, artistic director Jamie Eastlake will be directing Martin McNamara's new drama about the Guildford Four Your Ever Loving, followed in May by The Killing of Charles Bravo, an exclusive site-specific performance about a real-life murder that happened in Balham, where the theatre is based.
